Class Description: Are you interested in creating content for broadcast on cable television or the internet? MCM manages cable channels 19 and 21 in Montgomery County, and we want to help you create content for those channels. This class is a great start. In this course, learn what are some things you will need to develop your idea from page to screen. Developing a quality web series requires planning. To produce a quality web series, going through the necessary pre-production developmental planning phase will strengthen your idea and make production of your show feasible. If you plan to be a producer, knowing the right terminology and equipment while learning the three phases of production is essential. In this course, students will build skills by developing an episode of a web series show from idea to treatment. The outcome of the course will be a solid plan for your production.
