Montgomery County Recreation’s spring registration begins at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 for County residents for most programs and activities. Registration for all senior programs, including Bone BuildersDay Trippers and Senior Outdoor Adventures in Recreation (SOAR) will begin at 9 a.m.

Non-County residents will be able to register for Recreation’s programs beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21.

“Montgomery County Recreation offers something for everyone, and spring is a great time to get active, learn something new or just have fun,” said Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich. “Whether it’s fitness, aquatics, the arts, or senior programs, we want all residents to have access to high-quality, affordable activities. I encourage folks to explore the options and take advantage of our Rec Assist program if cost is a barrier. These programs help build a healthier, more connected community, and I hope everyone finds something they enjoy this season.”

Spring programs and activities are tailored to a variety of interests, skill levels and ages. Offerings include aquatics, fitness, sports, visual and performing arts, therapeutic recreation, adult 55+ programming and more. There are hundreds of programs available that promote an active, healthier lifestyle.

Programs are now viewable online, and residents can check out the digital guide

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, in-person registration will be available at 6:30 a.m. at the County’s aquatic centers(Germantown, Martin Luther King Jr., Olney, Silver Spring) and at the administrative office in Wheaton, located at 2425 Reedie Drive, 10th Floor, Wheaton.
