GranDesign Studio, Inc. / GDS+ is a small architectural firm dedicated to providing quality architectural design and technology services. Over the past twenty years the firm’s principals have established an excellent track record, locally and nationally, of delivering a quality product on time, and within budget. We attribute this to our small organization that has eliminated layers of management which hobble large firms.

We at GranDesign Studio, Inc. offer a team of Architects and Engineers with deep knowledge and experience in all aspects of design, construction, documentation, project management, coordination and construction supervision. Our team offers full services from project conception to completion. Our staff has had experience working with a diverse clientele that includes Federal, state, and local government, commercial (large and small business owners), industrial, private and public institutional projects, and land developers. We are fully versed in the advantages of computerized applications as well as traditional drafting methods.

The GranDesign Studio, Inc. team’ s services (from interiors to building design) reflect a close cooperation among architects, interior designers, and structural engineers as well as local and national mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineers. This collaboration insures completeness, efficiency and the highest design quality. In addition it minimizes coordination problems. We plan on having our designers and engineers meet with you and your staff on a regular basis, to make sure that our solutions are inventive, and match all your needs.

Our staff members and consultants have had national and international projects exposure that has provided us with a thorough understanding of all model codes, including UBC, BOCA, SBCCI, CABO, Life and Fire Safety as well as LEED and other sustainable building design alternatives. We are also well versed in the ANSI and ADA guidelines for barrier-free design and all other Federal design guidelines and regulations. Our extensive experience in cost estimating and value engineering ensures that the project design and program goals can be met while keeping costs with in a specified budget. This experience helps us identify, at an early stage, potential problems that eliminate costly change orders.
