"Remarkable vocal and dramatic gifts... Hayes is a respected dramatic tenor who has sung with scores of opera companies in this country, in France and on Broadway." - St Louis Public Radio
Join Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) for a FREE virtual concert of four arias and song, performed by celebrated local tenor Michael Hayes. Included are some of the world’s best known arias from Tosca, Rigoletto and Pagliacci, as well as the Irish ballad, Danny Boy.
Michael has performed with the NYC Opera, in Sondheim's Follies on Broadway & at the Kennedy Center, and on stages across the globe.
New to opera? He'll share a brief overview of each aria as well as what’s happening in the scene.
This program will be streamed live on MCPL’s Facebook (no need for an account). We hope you'll join us!
