Warm up your winter with STARKBIERZEIT, February 3rd and 4th, an Oktoberfest-style celebration of strong beer with food and live entertainment, featuring our first ever Doppelbock– BRANCHINATOR, 8.5% ABV!

Friday highlights a traditional cask tapping event of our doppelbock beer: Branchinator
Saturday has live music, costume contest, and Instagram photo contest to combine the traditional celebration with our current times
Held every March since 1651, Starkbierzeit means “strong beer season.”
To truly be considered a “Starkbier” the brew must have a minimum ABV of 7.5 percent. This heady style originated from an unlikely source: Bavarian Monks. The names typically end with the suffix “ator,” in keeping with tradition ever since the Paulaner friars brewed the “forefather of all strong beers.”
Balance out the strong Branchinator Starkbier with a Bratwurst platter that includes sides of red cabbage, potato, and sauerkraut, or enjoy a Bavarian Pretzel with Obatzda, an authentic Bavarian cheese spread. We will, of course have our regular menu options available.
