Silver Spring Town Center's 9th annual Harvest Moon Fest features arts, entertainment, and exhibitors.
The festival’s scheduled activities include:
1 pm — Tai Yim Kung Fu Lion Dance
2 pm — Community Drum Circle with Katy Gaughan and Drumming for Wellness
3 pm — Caribbean Steel Drum Music with the Josanne Francis Trio
5 pm — Mariachi Los Amigos
Art and STEAM activities will also be provided for all ages 7+ & abilities; all materials will be provided.
- 1-1:30 pm - Mandala Creation Workshop with artist Summer Blake
- 3-5 pm - Make a Scribbling Bot from Scratch with Mike Fahrsamane and Makersgeneration
- 4-6 pm - Redacted! Create Your Own Mixed Media Art Booklet artist Marcie Wolf-Hubbard
