This summer, Montgomery Parks is hosting Parks Playhouse Junior, a series of performances geared toward children ages two through twelve.

Join the beloved character Silly Goose and ventriloquist/musician/composer Val Smalkin as they celebrate the importance of bays in our ecological system. Silly Goose Goes Green has action songs, sing-a-long, dance-along, and laugh-along songs kids are sure to stay engaged the whole show. Rufus the Reluctant Dragon and Willie the Worm help us learn about runoff, recycling, and why Marianne was sifting sand on the seashore. Make sure to check out the wonderful musical work of Val Smalkin to get the dance party going.
About Parks Playhouse Junior: This summer, Montgomery Parks is hosting Parks Playhouse Junior, a series of performances geared toward children ages two through twelve. The series will consist of live puppet shows, sing-alongs, and music lessons by performers that will keep your kids moving and grooving, engaged, and informed. Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and a blanket or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show.
