All actors are cast in an exciting role, receive expert directing & coaching, make new friends, play theatre games, and make memories to last a lifetime! Lumina’s famous Summerstock is coming back for a summer filled with laughter and learning! Summerstock is educational and filled with creativity that exercises both brain and body! In the dead of night, who may haunt the hallowed halls of Eelation (The Aquarium of Our Times) but the shimmering, the magnificent, the delicious... SUGAR WHALE! Will our beloved aquarium director and her loyal staff be able to navigate the strange and choppy waters of the marine animal education and entertainment business? Will their rivals, the anti-fish press and one persistent injury lawyer, get the better of them? Can an octopus really operate DJ equipment? Find out this summer... before it's TOO LATE!
Folk Tale: THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH (ages 8-11): July 17-July 28, M-F 9am-3pm
Milo and his trusty Watchdog find themselves on a magical mission to return the banished princesses, Rhyme & Reason, to the warring kingdoms of Dictionopolis and Digitopolis and restore peace across the land! Will they complete their mission with the help of new friends like the Humbug and the Not-So-Wicked Whiches, or will troublemakers like Terrible Trivium and Dr. Discord foil their plans? A wacky adventure full of sensational and silly characters, The Phantom Tollbooth is sure to delight!
