The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) will host its annual Founders’ Day event on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM EST to 6:00 PM EST at the NBNA Headquarters located at 8630 Fenton Street, Ste. 906, Silver Spring, MD 20910. This special occasion will honor 53 years of the rich legacy of Black nurses and the significant contributions of the organization’s founders and members. The event will feature an NBNA Museum Grand Reveal, a distinguished panel of nursing professionals, a Founders' Day Recognition Ceremony, music, food, and fun! NBNA invites nursing professionals, students, and DMV natives to celebrate 53 years of Black nurses!
