Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Leonela Alejandro is a star on the rise whose combined lyricism and virtuosity have earned prizes in numerous competitions. “In the figure of Leonela Alejandro I see a great player. She is bold and unique as a musician and a person,” (René Izquierdo).
