What story have you always wanted to tell?

This hands-on class, held over 5 sessions, teaches new filmmakers to plan, shoot, and edit short documentaries. It covers visual storytelling through interviews, B-roll, and archival footage and photos. You'll create a short character profile of a person. To prepare for this class:

• Choose a person for your documentary. It can be a relative, or a local community member. That person should be available for interviews and tied to an interesting location or activity.
• Have a short pitch ready about why this would be an interesting story.

*there will be no class on April 19th!
