The Silver Spring Community Dance (contras, squares and circle dances) provides an opportunity for everyone, all ages, backgrounds and abilities, to participate in the experience of dancing to live music. We feature a high caliber of musicians and dance callers who appreciate the chance to perform. Research clearly demonstrates the value of dancing in promoting health of body, mind and spirit! Our goal is to create a welcoming space for children and teens, families, adults and seniors from all walks of life, where we can embrace and celebrate the diversity of our community.
