Join us on January 17, 2024, for a book reading and panel with Erica Ginsberg, author of the new book “Creative Resilience: Reclaiming Your Power as an Artist”, and local filmmakers Alyscia Cunningham and Amy DeLouise, both featured in the book. This is a free event with a suggested donation of $5 so we can continue our mission to support filmmakers and their works.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Artists across disciplines face challenges of motivation, self-confidence, creative blocks, rejection, and balancing creative pursuits with the rest of life. Creative Resilience is a guidebook for anyone navigating these challenges.
Author Erica Ginsberg includes relatable real-world examples from creatives across disciplines, ages, and stages of their careers. She cites her experiences as an artist and arts administrator with a mix of humor, linguistic reframing, and reflective exercises to give readers tools to manage aspects of the creative process and creative life.
The event will include a reading from the book and a panel featuring Erica and local filmmakers Alyscia Cunningham and Amy DeLouise. Signed copies of the book available for purchase. This is the second program in the Docs Reads series.
