Living through a pandemic necessitates connecting with others in creative ways. During this intimate, virtual interview, Washington, DC-based organizer, Vi, reflects on her early experiences with race as a first generation Vietnamese-American. She shares ideas for collective healing from racial trauma and invites the audience to imagine a world beyond racial oppression. This film short belongs to a series of Beloved Community Conversations that feature interviews with Black and Brown DC community members imagining healing, repair, and self-determined lives.
